3 Manifestation Hacks That Will Change Your Life

Manifestation involves the process of creating or materialising a desired outcome, goal or reality through intention, thoughts and actions. By focusing your energy and attention on a particular outcome, you send a message to the subconscious mind (which doesn't know the difference between fantasy and reality) that it is possible. Manifestation helps to elevate your energy and guides you to focus on what you want, vs what you don't.
Another crucial part to manifesting effectively is choosing to embody the feeling that you think the desired outcome is going to give you. For example, if the goal is to buy a house because it will make you feel accomplished, you must embody the feeling of accomplishment inside of yourself first as if the goal has already been reached.
Below are three of the techniques that have played a huge role in my manifesting journey. You don't need to use all of these, just start with the one that feels most inspiring and aligned for you!
1. Create a Vision Board
Vision boards are a great way to remind yourself of everything you want to achieve in visual form. You can create a 6 month, 1 year, 3 year vision board: go with what feels most aligned for you. The smaller the time frame, the more digestible it can be. The aim is to make it at least 85% believable, to encourage the part of you that may doubt, to stay on track. Depending on what you resonate with most, it can be created in list form or in images. I like to create a 1 year vision board with cut out images from magazines, which represent how I want to feel in the new life I am creating.
Put it up on your wall (ideally somewhere private so you don't hold anything back) so you can look at it regularly and remind yourself of where you are headed!
2. Visualisation and meditation
Visualisation and meditation are two very effective ways of altering your brain state by priming you to see what is possible. Find a peaceful space where you have privacy. Sit quietly and focus on your breath, with the option of playing some inspiring music in the background. Think of a person, place or thing that evokes a feeling of love or positivity within you. As you feel yourself drop into a calmer state, begin to ask yourself “If I could have anything in the world that I desire right now, what would that look like”. Begin to create a mental image of the life you want to create, embodying the feeling that the visuals are evoking. For example. “I've just been promoted to the head of the company and I feel so fulfilled and excited”. Imagine what you're wearing, what it feels like to wear those clothes, who is around you, any smells or anything you can taste. Be as creative and imaginative as possible during your visualising meditation and really soak in all of the goodness it has to offer you.
Remember, it is the embodiment of the feeling you imagine you will feel when you reach the goal that is the key to manifesting. When you are done, it can be helpful to journal any insights that arose during your process.
3. Clearing the fear and doubt to create clarity in your vision
Despite being number 3, this is the most important piece in manifesting successfully. In order to get what you want, you must believe you are worthy of having it. Experiencing self doubt is natural, but it is crucial to learn the techniques to clear any doubts and make space for a greater sense of self worth. Fear sits in the nervous system, so somatic work with a trained professional is a great way to shift the fears and doubts that stand in our way of reaching our desires.
